Frequently asked questions
- Who can submit a manuscript?
- Any author writing in Hindi or English, published before or not. Send the complete manuscript with the material listed in the author guidelines.
- How will I know where my manuscript has reached?
- Every title carries a publication status — under review, editing, typesetting, printing, published — and once your account is issued you can see it on your author dashboard along with the date it last changed.
- Do I get an ISBN?
- Yes. Titles the imprint publishes are registered and the ISBN-13 is recorded against the book, where it stays visible on your dashboard and on the book's page in the catalogue.
- How are sales reported to me?
- Copies sold are recorded per platform — Amazon, Flipkart, direct and offline — and per period, with the date the figure was last updated. Administrators enter and correct these; authors read them.
- Can I edit my own sales or publication data?
- No. Authors have read-only access, and every change an administrator makes is recorded in an audit log with who made it and when. That is what makes the figure worth reading.
